When moe was born, he was the last of the litter
All his brother and his sisters were a whole lot bigger
And everybody snickered at the littlest kitten on the farm
The runt, the runt, everyone would call him the runt
They'd chase his tail and they'd make fun
Of his tiny paws and his button nose
But he said, "No-one tells me what kind of cat I am
I will decide
I think I'll be a lion"
When Trojan was born, he was the pride of the farm
He was a prize-winning bull, with a ribbon on
But everybody worried 'bout the temper on that bull in the yard
He'd stomp his hoof, and dirty look at any passerby
And he'd spend days and days and days, just grazing
And he'd say "No-one tells me what kind of bull I am
I will decide
So pay me no mind"
And there's nothing that moe liked more than mischief
Chasing 'round his sisters and running on fences
And one day he leapt from the very very top
And landed in a pile of fluff
But the bull didn't notice, when Moe went flop
Landed right on his back, and now was riding on top
The meanest, maddest, biggest, baddest, crabbiest bull on the farm
They strolled along, the path through the crops
Trojan didn't notice 'til the moment he stopped
When down from his back, down from his back,
a kitten rolled off
He said "No-one tells me what kind of cat I am
I will decide
And I think I'll catch a ride"
And so up he went, up he went,
back atop the mighty bull and then
Together they paced the yard,
and grazed for days and days
And everybody said, everybody said,
one day that bull is bound to snap
He'll drop that cat on the ground, and that'll be that
But the bull would say, "No-one tells me what kind of friends I can have
I will decide
And the kitten is a friend of mine"
